Monday for examination as to his
sanitv. His insanity is of a mild
and harmless type and no doubt

Stevenson was a gooil quiet it

There is considerable talk, on the
quiet, of a creamery being estab
lished in Cottage Grove in the not
far distant future. Cottage Grove
and vicinity is very much in need
of such an institution, it would be
greatly beneficial not only to tho
farmers but would also be bene
ficial to the consumers. There are
no less than $300 sent out of the
town every month for creamery
products which could and should be
kept at home. A very small
amount of money comparatively
speaking, would .establish a good
creamery and not only furnish the
consumers with home produced
L'oods. but would give to the fanners
nf this community many dollars
that are now going to other places.

Last Friday Bert Nutin, city
marshal, was arrested on a warrant
sworn out bv Dr. Anderson, charg
ing him ' with the larceny of some
$12.50, alleged to have been taken
from the doctor's pants pocket
while he was sick in his room over
the Willson restaurant. The ex
amination which was held in the
nftcrnoon before Justice Vauglin,
resulted in the defendant being
held to nwait the action of the
grand jury with bail fixed at $500
which he gave miring me evening
