In the Champion gulch the Lc
Rpy brothers own the Laura group,
This is perhaps the widest ledge in
the district, being from 60 to too
feet in width, and the ore from the

lead and zinc, and there is no end tp
it. This mine alone can supply
100-ton smelter for years to come
Alfred and Henry Johnson, hav
bought a half interest in the LeRoy

and are -building a good cabin and
will lay in supplies and work all
winter. This week they have sent
out 100 pounds to Tacoma for
test- They have a 5-foot ledge of

mined.
No work is being done at present
on the Grizzly mine but it has
splendid ledge of liigh. grade ore
and when the time comes it will be
