A stir is reported on West Fisher
creek, 30 milts from Libby, Mont.,
where $Go ore is reported in an old

The pay roll of Rossland camp
runs over $100,000 per month. Of
this amount the British Columbia

fourths. In the Muldoon group, near
Uclcher camp, 12 miles east of Re
public, a strike in copper is re-;

Supeiiiitciidcnt Ediams says there
is a three-foot ledge which will
average $35. The formation is of
limestone between granit and slate.
A strike is reported on a claim,
between Delta and Carbon Center,
Idaho. The claim is owned by
John Dowd and J, J. Purcell, and
lies in a diiect continuation of the
Amazon Manhattan group. The
ore is high grade milling, and was
found near the surtace. No assays

Expansion is a fact in Mite

every direction. The latest dis

to the south of the McKcnzie river.
Parties making the discsvery re

Gate Creek and followed the divide
of a mountain range for 12 or 15
miles in an easterly direction, until
about south of Ultte River, where
they have located some dczen
claims. Another party headed by
Max Plumb started for this new

day. It is quite likely that within

IS IT RIGHT
For an Editor to Recommend Pat
ent Medicines?
From Sylvan Valley News, Brevrad
N. C.
It may be a question whether the
editor of a newspaper has the right
to publicly recommend any ot tut
various proprietary medicines which
flood the market, yet as a preventa
tive of suffering we feel it a duty
to say a good word for Chamber
Iain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea
Remedy. We have used this
medicine in our family for twenty
yenr and have always found it re
liable. In many cases a dose of
this remedy would save hours of
suffering while a physician is
awaited. We do not believe in de
pending implicitly on any medicine
for a cure, but we do believe that if
a bottle of Chamberlain's Diarrhoea
Remedy were kept on hand and ad
ministered at tbe inception-ot nn
attack much suffering might be
avoided and in very many cases the
presence of a physician would not
be required. At least this has been
our experience during the past
twenty years. For sale by BEN
