A sensational affair occurred in
this city last Tuesday night. A
couple of young Indies one of
them is said to be under age by
appointment met a couple of "sport
ing" gentlemen in a certain publu
resort in this city and proceeded to
fill up on beer and "sich." It re
sulted in making the drink come
and one of the girls had to haven

firm finally arranged a settlement
with the creditors at 55 cents on
