Let them come. If they come reiving on the information already in?
their hands they will not be disappointed. There has been no news
paper town or mining boo-n thrust upon them. Its all plain facts'.
A miner of the name of F. H. Grout was killed Monday in a mine
near Biker City. Messages have 'teen sent out to notify a brother of
the unfortunate man, but so far iu trace of him has been discovered.
The Monte Rico Ridge country is rapidly coming to the front and
will be a prominent section of the Bohemia camp this season. Among
the handsome prospects now under development there is the group of
tour claims, the Henry Clay, Spotted Fawn. J.. L. nnd Idylewild owned
by Chas. Clay, A. T. Gilbert and C. A. Whale. They are now in over
150 feet on the ledge which has a showing of 8 to 15 feet of splendid"
f:u milling ore gradually growing base as depth is attained. The
prospect is considered one of the finest in this section of the camp.
A new mining corporation was formed on the 10th inst,, the Adams
Mountain Mining Co., incorporated by E. S. Lovelace, F. Jordan,
Jae. E. Ostrander, with 500,000 shares at 5 cents per share, capital
stock $25,000. E. S. Lovelace was chosen president and t reasurer, F.
Jordan secretary, and the three incorporators constituting the board of
directors. Considerable work has been done on the property owned by
this company already, and active development work will commence
right away with the view of expending at least $3,000 in development
this season.
A handsome strike has recently been made in the Sftfsick mine in'
the level No. 6. The lead value of the ore is said to be as great aS that
recently uncovered in No. 4, which created such favorable comment.
