COMMEXT. A prominent mining man who visited this city lata week in con versation with a Nugget man said in substance the following, which is worthy of space consideiing the authority: People will not pay large sums for "prospects," but men that have made their money out of mines, are generally willing to de velop properties, and when a real value is demonstrated they will pay a fair price, and not until then. Iu mining districts bonds are given for one, two and three years and often five years; then the man of means is encouraged to invest, with a show to get his money back. With capital Bohemia district may be made foremost among mineral districts. Give mining a show. If you have fifteen or or twenty locations sell or give them away, all but one. One good mine will make you well off, two poor ones will keep you poor for ever. An undeveloped property is as big a load on one's hands as a poor one. Who will develop the district. Capital! "Let him in." Who will put iu smelters, chlori'na tion works, etc? Capital! Let him in. Who will give us good times and enable us to discover the riches at our very door? Capital. Who would rather avail them selves of some of the world's goods, this year, than wait five years. In summary let us say, give the practical mining man a chance, re member that a one year bond, here is equal to only three months work which is not saiisfactory or en couraging to those that would spend money to open our vast mineral resources. There are too many attractive mining districts; we cannot afford to let any opportunity to interest the one side would escape us. Geo. Willoughby of Eugene wiib in the city Thursday looking for a building lor a bowling alley. Ho failed to find one'. INCORPORATIONS.
