Annual Cottage Grove Half Marathon returns for 2021

Cottage Grove Half Marathon participants started and finished their race at Trailhead Park on Saturday, March 13. The out-and-back course led runners east along
the Row River Trail, passing natural landmarks like Dorena Lake. This year’s race featured a self-start to increase social distancing. Top finishers of the half mara-
thon included Jordan Colburn (1st) at a time of 1:21:34, Sierra Brown (2nd) at 1:22:20 and Kate Kelp-Stebbins (3rd) at 1:30:40. Top 10K finishers were Carter
Bengtson (1st) at 41:38, Harry Sullivan (2nd) at 49:43 and Melanie Neilitz (3rd) at 52:37.
