Be Seen! Be Safe!
Who: Point2point at Lane Transit
District.
What: With shorter days approaching,
more commuters may fi nd themselves
traveling home in the dark. Point2point
at Lane Transit District wants to help
pedestrians and cyclists stay safe during
the darker winter hours by distributing
free bike, walk, and skate lights and other
safety information during a “Be Seen Be
Safe Light Giveaway” event.
When: Th ursday, November 14 from
3 – 6 p.m., at Bohemia Park. Whether you
walk, bike or skate, you need to be seen to
be safe. While supplies last.

Newsletter on December 4, 2019, and
the Cookies & Carols section. A fl yer
announcing the day/evening activities will
also be given to over 1,800 students.
Th ere is no fee to members of the Cottage
Grove Chamber of Commerce however
there is a fee of $25 for non-chamber
members and includes all advertising. If
you want to be included in the advertising/
promotion of this event let us know by
completing a Merchant Registration

Banner Bank, Mike assumed his current
responsibilities overseeing the sales, service,
and operational activities of 15 branch
locations in Lane and Coos Counties. He
earned his Bachelors’ degree in Business
Administration from Lewis-Clark State
College in Idaho, and is a graduate of the
Pacifi c Coast Banking School in Seattle,
Washington. Mike actively serves on wide
variety of community and non-profi t
boards and councils, including being a
past co-chair of the Lane County United
Way Campaign, an advisory council
member for the Kids in Transition to
School program, a member of the Oregon
Bankers Governmental Aff airs committee,
and a board member for the one of the
fastest growing Arts & Performance
programs in the area, Ballet Fantastique.
Tyler Lawrence
has
14 years of experience
in the banking industry
including three years as
a branch manager and
four years of commercial
banking
experience.
Tyler was born and raised
in Coos Bay, OR, has
a bachelor’s degree in
economics from the University of Oregon
and currently chairs the board of United
Way Emerging Leaders of Lane County.

time to recognize those in our community
who truly stand out through volunteerism
and excellent business practices, student
excellence, teacher appreciation, and other
recognitions. We are seeking nominations
for Non-Profi t of the Year, Business of the
Year and First Citizen. Nomination forms
