McCoy’s Pharmacy returns
Larry McDonald
February 2, 1927 – December 16, 2018
Larry McDonald passed away peacefully December 16, 2018
in Redmond, OR at the age of 91.
We will miss him and hold our memories close.
He was a proud to be a “Logger”. He was a loading logs
when he retired from Weyerhauser after 30 years in 1987.
He loved fi shing, camping bowling and in his younger days,
dancing. Larry played and sang country and western on the gui-
tar, piano, and harmonica. Great fun around the campfi res. Larry
was always up on football and basketball at all levels.
Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years Marjorie McDonald
currently of Prineville, OR, his three children; a son D. Kim Mc-
Donald of Medford, OR, daughters; Debra of Blanchard, ID and
Denise of Post Falls, ID, two stepchildren; Larry of Bremerton,
WA and Kathy of Prineville, OR and their spouses, 10 grandchil-
dren and many great and great great-grandchildren, two sisters-
in-law; Marge and Mary Jean, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother Alice, father Rob-
ert, brothers Don, Ed and Gene and sister: Charmain and grand-
daughter Rene.
A graveside memorial at Cottage Grove will be held at a later
date in the spring.

• Drug paraphernalia, in
the form of two syringes, was
found in the restroom of a
restaurant on Row River Rd.
• A Main Street business
reported receiving a counter
$100 bill.
Feb. 19
• A noise complaint was
reported at 1:02 a.m. when
there was a group of people
screaming and singing “ex-
tremely loud” in front of a
location on Main Street.
• A complainant on K
Street reports on ongoing
neighborhood problem in
which her cats are being at-
tacked on the sidewalk in
front of her house by a dog.
Feb. 20
• A noise complaint at 1:21
p.m. was reported on Eighth
Street. An officer reported
that the complaint was “un-
founded” and that the radio
was “turned to a very rea-
sonable level.”
• Theft was reported at
CGHS when $350 of make-
up were reported stolen
from the locker room.
• A noise complaint was
reported at 4:38 p.m. on
Jefferson St. Upon arrival,
there was no music playing.

when a man was acting
“shady” as he was dragging
a wheel barrow full of boxes.
Feb. 23
• A man and woman re-
ported being the victims of a
hit and run on Highway 99.
After field interviews, it was
determined to be an “un-
founded” claim.
Feb. 24
• Reckless driving was re-
ported in a parking lot when
vehicles were doing dough-
nuts.
Feb. 25
• The log was filled with
individuals reporting traffic
hazards and welfare checks
in response to the snow.
• Several juveniles were
reported to have ran into a
power box with their vehi-
cle and were attempting to
remove the vehicle and leave
the area.

ficers reported that it was a
“normal amount of noise in
and out of the business.”

March 3
• An individual on Hwy.
99 was seen hiding out in
snow piles. When called out
to, the subject reported that
he had been jumped. An ex-
tensive area check proved to
be negative.
A complainant on Har-
rison Avenue reported that
their neighbors were launch-
ing illegal fireworks at 12:23
a.m.
Feb. 28
• A pair of noise com-
plaints were made by an
individual on Eighth Street
as a neighbor was reported-
ly playing their music very
loudly at 1:19 a.m.
March 2
• A citizen assistance was
requested after a woman re-
ported two girls throwing
snowballs at her car.
• A noise complaint was
received after an individual
reported several people yell-
ing in front of a location on
