The Lincoln Middle School Seismic
Improvement project entails structural
upgrades to Buildings C, D, E, F and G
to bring the buildings into conformance
with the latest State of Oregon Structural
Building Codes.
25 classrooms will
require seismic structural modifi cations
to the existing structural connections and
components. All classroom casework in
the affected areas will be replaced and
all classroom walls and ceilings will be
repainted. Some classroom walls will
require rigid insulation and new gypsum
wallboard ceilings which will require
painting. Some specifi c exterior structural
wood posts and structural connections
will be replaced.
