two local churches will be
off ering a breakfast and
dinner for Th anksgiving:
• Th e Church of Christ,
195 N. Sixth St., will serve
breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10
a.m.
• Trinity Lutheran, 675 S.
Seventh St., will serve a tra-
ditional Th anksgiving meal
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Lorane Grange wants to thank everyone
for a fantastic attendance at the spaghet-
ti dinner and bingo last Saturday evening,
which included 32 for dinner and 38 for
bingo. Th e progressive blackout was not
won, so hope to see all if you in January.
Th e amount has continued to grow so
you might win next time.
• Wishing everyone a very Happy Th anks-
giving and stay safe.
• Hanging of the Greens at Lorane Chris-
tian Church is Sunday evening, Dec. 2 at 6
p.m. Bring a Christmas treat/fi nger food
type dessert to share. Always a fun time.
• No school from Wednesday, Nov. 21,
until classes resume on Monday, Nov. 26,
for Th anksgiving weekend.
• Angel Trees are going up in the Fami-
ly Store and Crow High School. Th is is for
families in need of assistance during the
Christmas holiday season. If you know of
anyone in the Lorane/Crow area between
the ages of birth to 18 and attend Crow-Ap-
plegate-Lorane schools, contact the district
offi ce or call 541-517-6608.
• Also, remember the food boxes are up
to help those in the Lorane community.
