• Tomorrow, Nov. 8, the
Crow High School band will
be in the courtyard at 9 a.m.
It will perform the material
from the concert it will be
playing sometime during
the morning of Sunday, Nov.
11, at the Marine Corps/Iwo
Jima Memorial in Washing-
ton, D.C.
Band member and Lorane
community members Mark
Simonson will play taps
at three memorials. Come
hear them and wish them
well, they leave on the same
day.

rane Grange member and
longtime Lorane commu-
nity member, Randy Esh-
leman will be the guest of
honor as the 2018 Veteran of
the Year at the Linn County
Fair and Expo Center.

munity service since dis-
charging from the service.

front of the Albany Veter-
an’s Day Parade on Saturday,
Nov. 10.
Another Lorane Veteran,
Mike Cantrall will also be
riding up front if the parade.

conducting its annual Leaf Pickup during the following weeks:
November 13 th -16 th • December 3 rd - 7 th • December 17 th -21 st
Tips for Leaf Placement in Street
Only piles of loose leaves will be picked up
Pile leaves on the street surface near the gutter, keeping gutter
and catch basins free of leaves so storm water is not obstructed
On streets without curbs and gutter, pile the leaves near the street
surface away from ditches

outside the Row River Water Treatment Plant at 3300 Row

Branches will not be picked up

Do not include rocks, metal or other debris in your leaf pile
Lawn clippings will not be picked up
