In the 56th minute play was stopped for nearly five minutes as the goalie was subbed out. After being looked at by the Phoenix coaches, she came back into the game a minute later. With the injury taking the rhythm out of the game, both teams soon found their pace again and were both creating shots. Annah Nyburg (21:15) and Evie Smith (23:13) led the team finishing fourth and eighth respectively. Eternity Reimche (25:11), Nadia Witt (25:33) and Kajsa Merz (27:58) fin- ished the team’s top-five. North Douglas Football (2-1) The Warriors fell 48-46 on the road at Hosanna Christian last Friday. Elkton Football (3-0) The Elks continued their dominance over the non-league schedule as they defeated Days Creek 46-0 on the road on Sat- urday. Elkton, ranked number three in 1A, has outscored their opponents 186-8 so far this season.
