BR ADFORD— Nor m a
Louise Bradford, 90, of Cre-
swell, Ore., passed away May
23, 2018.
Norma was born July 28,
1927, in Cottage Grove, to
Alvis and
Marie (Mc-
Cargar)
Wicks.
She grad-
uated from
Cottage
Grove High
School and
Norma Bradford
attended
Oregon State University.
Norma was a homemak-
er and farmer. She enjoyed
craft s, sewing, gardening,
dogs and Bible studies.
Norma helped others, giv-
ing them rides, cooked and
cleaned for the church and
taught Sunday school. She
was a member of the Histor-
ical Society, Th e Church of
Christ in Creswell and the
Children’s Ministry.
Norma married Ross H.
Bradford on June 23, 1945,
in Cottage Grove.
She is survived by her son
Nick (Nancy) Bradford of
Creswell; her daughter Vic-
ki Bigelow of Scottsburg,
Ore.; six grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren
and
two great-great-grandchil-
dren.
Norma was preceded in
death by her husband, Ross
Bradford, on June 23, 2005.
A celebration of her life
will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat-
urday, July 14, at the Church
of Christ in Creswell.
Memorial contributions
can be made to Meals on
Wheels.

MINNERY—Frances
Larie Minnery, 79, of Cot-
tage Grove, Ore., passed
away June 21, 2018, sur-
rounded by family.
She was born Feb. 19,
1939, in Dayton, Ohio, to
John E. and Lorena (Neit-
er) Minnery.
Frances was a nurse in
both her professional and
family life.
She served in the United
States Airforce and always
worked

hard. She
l o v e d
camping,
playing
cards and
garden-

Her proudest accom-
plishment were her three
boys; Don, Craig and
Kevin Lamm. Her faith
held her strong to the end
and being with her grand-
children always made her
smile.
Frances is survived by
her sons: Don and Craig
Lamm; sisters Mary Lee
and Carolyn; brother Jer-
ry; and 8 grandchildren
and 5 great-grandchil-
dren.
She was preceded in
death by son, Kevin
Lamm.
A celebration of life and
potluck will be held at
noon on Saturday, July 7,
at 76622 Blue Mountain
School Rd., in Cottage
Grove.

ROWLETT—Bebe Fay
Rowlett, 95, of Creswell,
died June 22, 2018.
She was born in Van
Nuys,
Calif.,
on Jan.
16, 1923,
to Ben-
jamin
Franklin
and Edna
Bebe Rowlett

(Adams) Rowlett.
Bebe attended Van Nuys
High School, graduat-
ing in 1941. She married
Glenn E. Rowlett on July
1, 1941, in Van Nuys.
She worked for Lock-
heed Aircraft as an elec-
trical inspector; she was a
Rosie the Riveter.
Aft er the war, she be-
came a homemaker aft er
moving to Dorena, Ore.,
in 1948. Bebe enjoyed
knitting, crocheting and
quilting. She was a fantas-
tic baker, famous for her
cinnamon rolls.
She also enjoyed gar-
dening, canning and
woodworking with her
husband.
She loved spending time
with her church fami-
ly and was a member of
the Creswell Church of
Christ.
Bebe is survived by her
daughter Linda (Ron-
ald) Curtright of Cre-
swell; son Roy Rowlett of
Creswell; daughter Nola

phone with an email ad-
dress associated to it and
was brought to the police
station.
• A blank check for a local
antique store was found in a
parking lot on Main St.
• An individual on 10th
St. reported that their neigh-
bor’s dog had burrowed
under the fence and killed
their chickens.
• Criminal mischief was
reported at Walmart aft er a
supervisor observed a man
in the parking lot pulling
out all the trash and belong-
ings of his van and putting
them on the ground. When
contacted, he said he was
only rearranging the con-
tents of his vehicle.
• A non-injury motor ve-
hicle accident was reported
on Gateway Blvd. aft er a
vehicle crashed into a pole
outside of a building.
• In three separate inci-
dents throughout the aft er-
noon, individuals reported
dogs being locked in cars.
All situations were resolved.
June 27
• Multiple callers reported
a disturbance on Gateway
Blvd. aft er seeing a subject
yelling at a driver in a park-
ing lot around 12:30 a.m.
• An offi cer was fl agged
down on Main St. aft er a
Sears Road.
Th ere will also be a kids’

met raffl e, light refreshments
and general safety informa-
tion.
SLT has secured addition-
al grant funding and will be
able to complete the remain-
ing crossing improvements
envisioned by the Row River
Trail Corridor Plan that was
adopted by the Lane County
Board of Commissioners in
2013.
In 2015, SLT was able to
construct two trail crossing
safety improvements: an un-
dercrossing at milepost 4.0;
and an improved alignment
with signage and lighting at
milepost 5.4.
As early as summer 2019,
SLT hopes to be able to im-

zontally on the ground,
without a permit issued
by the OSFM.
Fireworks common-
ly called bottle rockets,
Roman candles and fi re-
crackers are illegal in Or-
egon without a permit.
All fi reworks are pro-
hibited on all Oregon
beaches, in state parks
and campgrounds and
on all federal public
lands.
Offi cials can seize ille-
gal fi reworks and charge
off enders with a class
B misdemeanor which
could result in a fi ne of
up to $2,500 per viola-
tion and a civil penalty of
up to $500.

was reported aft er an indi-
vidual heard a single shot
and then four more. Was
unknown if it was gunshots

South Lane Transportation Safety campaign begins July 30
Th e community is invit-
ed to attend a meeting July
30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at
the Cottage Grove Commu-
nity Cenyer (700 Gibbs St.),
during which South Lane
Transportation (SLT) will be
sharing information about
what the county is doing to
improve safety.
It will showcase three
safety projects on Row Riv-
er Road, London Road and
(Donald) Perini of Roy,
Wash.; eight grandchil-
dren, many great-grand-
children and many, many
great-great-grandchil-
dren.
A funeral was held at
1:30 p.m. on Wednesday,
June 27, at the Creswell
Church of Christ.
Burial followed at Sun-
set Hills Cemetery in Eu-
gene.
