1987: Cottage Grove underwent its annual transformation into a
Christmas-time setting. Bohemia Mining Days Court Queen Jodi
Snodgrass and Princess Niki McHugill were part of the Bohemia
Court who helped decorate the town last Friday. Although the court
traditionally decks the town with decorations, the court ran out of
“father power” this year so the Thespian Club at CGHS also helped
out, said Miriam Winston, the Thespian president and BMD prin-
cess. Paul Stock, former owner of United Electric service, strings
lights on a 30-foot Christmas tree. The tree was donated by Weyer-
haueser and Pacifi c Power.
