South Lane Mental Health has been in the community for decades but celebrated the opening of a new facility and Em- erald Fitness was welcomed to the business community at its Gateway Blvd. location. Several city and chamber offi cials came out for the ribbon cuttings including chamber director Travis Palmer, members Jessica Baker and Rhonda Woorley and Cottage Grove City Councilman Kenneth Roberts. A previously planned retooling of the offi ce was responsible for the closure and now that the new schedule, staff and list of services is set, that door is ready to swing open again. On June 6, the Cottage Grove location is expected to open again with a change in services that is expected to be announced early next week.
