In April, the Cottage Grove Sentinel launches its new website. The new site will
be much more extensive, useful and powerful than the one it replaces.
Local news and information on the new site will triple. Opportunities for
local businesses, organizations and individuals to post their commentary will
be available. There will be more tools for local videos, audio and photos. A
powerful search engine explores the sites current and previous articles and
photos. All content on the site will be customized for smartphones and tablets.
The site will no longer be behind a hard paywall. Casual readers will be able
to access 10 stories a month for free before being prompted to subscribe. The
new subscription plan will give both our print readers and our digital users a
variety of payment options. If you are a print subscriber to the Cottage Grove
Sentinel, you will have full access to the entire website and the e-edition at no
additional cost.
