Claymation Christmas Celebration (1987)
Oh, the memories! Back when we asked Santa for jelly shoes and
Cabbage Patch Kids ... if we could only find the VHS tape! Dinosaur
co-hosts Rex and Herb introduce various musical numbers and discuss
the origins of each such as “Carol of the Bells,” “We Three Kings,” “Joy
to the World” and our personal favorite, “Here We Come a-Waffling”
... err .. “Wassailing.” The headliner here though is none other than
The California Raisins singing “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
We think someone (we’re looking at you, Netflix ...) needs to bring
this classic back on the air. If you’re feeling really nostalgic, it can be
purchased on DVD through Amazon or shop.tcm.com.
