site at Hills Creek Dam as the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
begins fi eld investigation at
some of its dams. The investiga-
tions at Hills Creek, Cougar and
Lookout Point dams will give
the Corps additional informa-
tion to better understand con-
ditions within the dams and in
their foundations.

Grange
This coming Saturday, Nov.
12, brings Dinner and a Movie
Night to the Lorane Grange. As
per our custom, the November
Movie Night is Pie Night, and
guests are invited to bring their
favorite pie to share. Hot soups,
bread from Metropol Bakery,
coffee from Caffe Pacori, and
friendly neighborly faces will
be on hand.
Guests are also invited to
bring non-perishable food or
cash for the local collection for
holiday baskets.

here will be no school
in the Crow-Applegate-
Lorane District this Thursday,
Nov. 10 for a grading day. There
is also no school on Friday,
Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans
Day. There are several parades
around the state, especially the
huge one in Albany. Be sure to
thank a vet for their service
Lorane Grange will host the
Rural Arts Council Movie Night
this Saturday, Nov. 12. Social
hour begins at 6 pm over a din-
ner of homemade soup and
Metropol Bakery bread fol-
lowed by wonderful desserts.
This is pie night, so guests are
encouraged to bring their favor-
ite pie to share with everyone.

13, Lorane Christian Church is
having its annual Thanksgiving
Dinner at Lorane Grange, which
is open to the community. Tur-
key and ham are provided, with
everything else potluck. It all
begins at 5 p.m.
Lorane Grange’s next taco
dinner and bingo evening is
Thursday, Nov. 18. Dinner is
from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with bingo
starting at 6:30 p.m., and there
will still be a 50/50 raffl e and
the progressive blackout. Any-
one coming only for bingo may
still purchase dessert and bever-
ages.

worked beside her husband for
over 40 years in their wrecking
yard. Perry had been retired for
several years.
Survivors include a son, Gor-
don Radebaugh of Drain, Ore.,
two granddaughters, two grand-
sons, and four great-grandchil-
dren.
Along with her husband, she
was preceded in death by a son,
Robert Radebaugh.
She was loved by many fam-
ily and friends who will miss
her very much.
