Season Outlook:
Girls' soccer is under new leadership this year
as previous head coach Vern Stewart has moved to
the boys' team. His daughter, Samantha Shine, has
since stepped in to coach the team while visiting
her family in Cottage Grove. Shine says that the
team will have a similar gameplan as Stewart's in
that they see the game similarly. Cottage Grove
soccer plays a fast-paced game based on quick
and accurate passing and precise ball movement.
