CLASS 5 – THEME ARRANGEMENTS
“A TRULY COUNTY FAIR”
A. Novice — Anyone who has won five or few-
er blue ribbons.
B. Amateur—Anyone who has won
10 or fewer blue ribbons
C. Open—Advanced amateurs or professional
arrangers.
Backgrounds, underlays & accessories
permitted. Flags may be used if featured.
Lot 1 - 20” & over large arrangement
Lot 2 - Red, White & Blue arrangements
Lot 3 - Arrangement using dry materials
Lot 4 - Arrangement not to exceed 5”overall.
Lot 5- Arrangement with a bit of “whimsy and
humor” - let your imagination go wild!
Lot 6 - An arrangement using pieces of fabric.
Lot 7 - Group Display. An arrangement created by
more than one person. Your choice of any full
sized arrangement listed.

CLASS 6 - GARDEN CRAFT
A. Collage
1. A two-dimensional abstract design done on a flat
panel or board. Cut or torn materials are glued,
pasted or otherwise attached.
2. A minimum of low relief plant materials, fresh
and/or dried, are used.
3. Found objects are not required but may be used.
They must be flat, not three-dimensional.

4. Apparent visual depth is obtained by overlapping
planes and juxtaposition of color, pattern and/or
texture
B. Pressed Flowers
These will be hung on the wall.

C. Herbarium (Plant Scrapbook)
Use two sheets of 8 1/2 x 11” paper for each plant.
Mount dried and pressed plants on one page. Use
second page for description. This will make two fac-
ing pages to be placed in plastic protectors and will be
displayed on the wall.

FORESTRY
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Two entries per person, per class.
2. Trees must be in entrant’s possession at least
FOUR months.
3. Displays must have a written summary describing
them.
4. Each seedling shall be potted individually.
