The board members of the WOE Heritage Fair and Gene Campbell Memo-
rial Lumberjack Show would like to take this opportunity to thank our
many sponsors, contributors, volunteers, and other non-profi t organiza-
tions that once again, helped in making this years fair come together. We
would also like to thank the Community for supporting us by continuing
to participate and attend every year. Thank you and Welcome to this years

Opening Ceremonies-Friday, August 19, 10:00 a.m.
Cottage Grove’s VFW Carl Kebelbeck POST 3473
will officiate the Opening Ceremony of Flag Raising with a
pledge of allegiance and the singing of Star Spangled Banner
at 10:0 a.m. Friday, August 19 for the opening of the gates to
the 2016 Western Oregon Exposition, Fair.
Cottage Grove became home to the Veteran’s of
Foreign Wars post in 1948. They serve all veterans. They are
known for hosting great dinners and breakfasts at the post to
help raise money for their many charitable works. You might
see their trailer handing out free coffee to travelers at our I-5
rest stops. The aux prepares boxes to send to service men
and women overseas every Christmas.
