Cowboy Buck and
Elizabeth:
BMD welcomes back Cowboy Buck and Eliza-
beth to the Main Stage for their 15th year
performing at the festival. Their songs and skits
brighten up each audience by creating enthusi-
astic audience participation through song and
dance, hand movements and laughter. Main
and Cultural Stage performances on Thurs-
day–Sunday.
Helena Saloon:
Under-21 Root Beer Watering Hole
Imagine that you're strolling through Bohemia
City, and you happen upon the Helena Saloon,
the renowned local watering hole. You think it
might be nice to wander in, belly on up to the
bar, and wet your whistle with a cold, frothy
root beer or sarsaparilla. You might sit down at
a table and relax for a while. Maybe you'd even
try your luck at a friendly game of cards.
Sound good to you? Well, then, you're in luck…
if you're under the age of 21. Yep, you read that
rightly! The Helena Saloon, and its attached
root beer garden, are for them as ain't yet
reached our great state's age of majority. Cold
beverages will be available therein, along with
decks of cards, a decent supply of poker chips,
and, most importantly, a distinct shortage of
extraneous adults.
Schedule: Open All Day, Every Day
Location: Bohemia City (near Heritage Stage)
Sponsor: Lane Electric Co-Op
Jay the Magician:
Kids of all ages will enjoy Jay, who will per-
form between acts on the Main Stage and
Cultural Stage and will roam around Bohe-
mia City delighting and astonishing festi-
val-goers with his close-up magic tricks.
Pony Rides:
BMD welcomes back Ready, Set, Ride to pro-
vide our pony rides this year.
Rides are $5 per child.
Slabtown
versus Lemati Feud
Contest:
Returning for the fourth year this ongoing
competition is pure old-fashioned fun for
children and adults. As we begin the 2015
Feud, Lematians have the bragging rights
for their two wins and it’s an opportunity
for Slabtowners to even the score! Check
the BMD website for details on how to join
in the fun or visit the Gazebo Stage during
the festival.
Train Rides:
The arrival of the train in 1871 was a bless-
ing to Cottage Grove’s farmers and miners.
The BMD Express provides free rides to
travel back in time and visit museums, cov-
ered bridges and the Victorian home of the
town’s fi rst doctor. Train guides have free
maps to offsite cultural heritage attractions
that are easy walking distances from train
stops and within a geographic area that's
signifi cantly smaller than a Disneyland
theme park.
Remote Racing Cars
BMD welcomes back Full Throttle Attraction
to provide this popular car racing game. Up to
four racers can compete to determine who wins
the race.
Test your skill at racing these miniature cars
around the track and see who wins.
Cost: $3 for one race OR $5 for two races
