Valedictorians
COTTAGE GROVE HIGH SCHOOL
Scott Anderson. He is the son of Chrissy and
Eric Anderson. He plans to attend Oregon State
University to study mechanical engineering. He
was a member of the soccer team and involved in
Spanish Club and German Club.
Benjamin Bauml. He is
the son of Richard Bauml
and Patricia Noe. He will
be attending Oregon State
University with the intention
of becoming a physicist. He was involved in Chess
Club, Pit Orchestra and attended Band Camp.
Camie Calkins. She is the
daughter of Debra and Jeff
Calkins. She will attend Western Oregon University
where she will major in forensic chemistry. She
was involved in the Rhythm and Blues Revue,
the volleyball team and was a member of Health
Occupations Students of America.
Carol Crum. She is the
daughter of Kristie Babbitt.
She will attend the University of Oregon where she
will receive a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She
was active in band, Interact Club and Link Crew.
Maeve Dahlen. She is the
daughter of Veronica and
Bjorn Dahlen. She will be
attending Portland State University to study Music
Education. She was the president of Key Club, the
captain of the cross country team and a varsity
track and fi eld athlete.
Jaylene Forrester. She is the daughter of
Cassandra, James and Angie Forrester. She will
be attending the University of Oregon where she
plans to receive a degree in Psychology. She was
active in Volleyball, Track, and Link Crew.
Shelby Kidd. She is the
daughter of Blaid and April
Kidd. She will attend Western
Oregon
University
from
where she will transfer to
OHSU nursing school. She plans on becoming a
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse. She was active
in coordinating the Lion King Pageant and a school
blood drive. She was also in Leadership.
NORTH DOUGLAS
Valedictorian is Savannah Rain. She is the
daughter of Justin and Angel McKeithen of
Drain. Savannah is undecided on where she will
be attending college next year. Savannah has
been involved in National Honor Society, FBLA,
and qualifi ed for the FBLA National Leadership
Conference her junior and senior year.
