Zane Piper of Cottage Grove
won his state championship
race and took third overall for
the season in the 5-and-un-
der novice/intermediate class
group on Sept. 13 in Grants
Pass.
Piper races out of Eugene at
Emerald BMX. For the State
Championship Race series, he
raced 10 races that included
Medford, Roseburg, Bend,
Redmond, Mollala, St Helens
and the host site of the Cham-
pionships fi nals, Grants Pass.
