These should be 3’ to 7’ and self supporting. Can be
made by an individual or a group.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All work must be original
(except student class).
2. An exhibit which has been awarded a prize at a previ-
ous FAIR may not compete, but may be used for display
only.
3. If in the judges’ opinion, an exhibit is not up to speci-
fied standard, it will not receive a prize.
4. All entries must be matted and/or framed, no glass.
and must be securely wired for hanging. If the hanging
devices are flimsy, or unstable, the entry will not be dis-
played.
5. All paintings should have a name on them.
6. Artist should choose a category, a class, and a lot for
each painting exhibited.
7. Each artist will be allowed no more than 4 items per
person.
INTERNATIONAL JUDGING
GUIDE FOR EXHIBITION JURIES
1 to 10 points for each of the following
elements. Total 40 points.
1. Composition Of line, value, mass, color,
design, balance, unity, rhythm
2. Originality Creativity, style, inspiration,
technique
3. Style and Technique Harmony, vibrancy, refinements
4. Color Harmony, values, illumination, mood, contrast
CLASS A — Child (0/5)
CLASS B — Youth (6/9)
CLASS C — Junior (10/13)
CLASS D — Teens (14/17)
CLASS E — Senior (65 +)
CLASS F — Advanced (18 +)
CLASS G — Professional
Any person who sells their works or one who teaches
should put their work in professional. An adult may enter
in more than one category, depending on his/her ability
or experience in that specific class. A person could be an
advanced amateur in oil painting, but could be a beginner
in a watercolor class. Exhibit in the category closest to
your ability, because exhib-iting in a category too high or
too low could defeat your entry.
