Feud Contest:
Returning for the fourth year this
ongoing competition is pure old-fash-
ioned fun for children and adults. As
we begin the 2015 Feud, Lematians
have the bragging rights for their
two wins and it’s an opportunity for
Slabtowners to even the score! Check
the BMD website for details on how to
join in the fun or visit the Gazebo Stage
during the festival.
Train Rides:
The arrival of the train in 1871 was a
blessing to Cottage Grove’s farmers
and miners. The Pacifi c Power’d BMD
Express provides free rides to travel
back in time and visit museums, cov-
ered bridges and the Victorian home
of the town’s fi rst doctor. Train guides
have free maps to offsite cultural herit-
age attractions that are easy walking
distances from train stops and within
a geographic area that's signifi cantly
smaller than a Disneyland theme park.
Cowboy Buck &
Elizabeth bio
BMD welcomes back Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth for
their 14th year performing at the festival. They will
perform shows on both the Main Stage and the Cul-
tural Stage on Thursday through Saturday.
Each year Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth are regulars at
numerous schools and festivals. Their songs and skits
brighten up each audience by creating enthusiastic
audience participation through song and dance, hand
movements and laughter. Together Cowboy Buck and
Elizabeth put on a high energy show which includes
guitar, banjo, vocal impersonations, sign language,
ventriloquism and cheek slappin’.

Jay the Magician bio
Participation from BMD's young visitors is essential to the success of
the Slabtown Vs. Lemati Feud Contest.
BMD welcomes back local magician, Jay Frasier
for his second appearance at the festival.
This accomplished magician performs at schools,
libraries, county fairs, and at personal and corpo-
rate events throughout the Pacifi c Northwest.
He is best known for his engaging way of making
magic funny, entertaining and interactive for all
ages, through close-up magic or in stage shows.
On Saturday, Jay will perform between acts on
the Main Stage and Cultural Stage and will be
roaming around Bohemia City delighting and
astonishing festival-goers with his close-up magic
tricks.
