KIDS STUFF AT BMD 2015
We’ve brought back familiar favorite activities and events and are offering new ones
designed to appeal to children of all ages and their families.

Kiddie Parade:
A BMD favorite for 56 years! Friday, July 17
at 11 a.m. at CG Community Center. Regis-
tration begins at 10:30 a.m. Route through
Historic Downtown. Participants get ribbon
and ice cream at the end. FREE.
Kids Zone:
The carnival is a favorite each year at Bohemia Park.
Carnival:
The carnival offers rides, games and food in
Bohemia Park. Advance Ride Bracelets are
$22 by July 15 at Cottage Grove Bi-Mart or
The Bookmine. All-Day Ride Bracelets are
$27 (Unlimited ride bracelets valid from
opening to one hour before closing time.
Individual ride tickets can be purchased
with most rides requiring multiple tickets
per ride. Carnival hours: Thursday: 3-9
p.m., Friday: 2-9 p.m., Saturday: 11 a.m. to
9 p.m. and Sunday Noon – 4 p.m.

Helena Saloon:
Back by popular demand from the under-21
crowd, the famous Helena Saloon returns
to offer free root beer and card games
served up by their peers. Located near the
Kids Zone, it operates during festival hours.

Elizabeth:
Jay the Magician:
BMD welcomes back Cowboy Buck and
Elizabeth to the Main Stage for their 14th

form between acts on the Main Stage and

Living History:
Fort Umpqua Project in Elkton, the Fort
Umpqua Muzzleloaders and the Bohemia
Mine Owners Association provide this
year's living history experiences. Activi-
ties include: Gold Panning and a Mountain
Men encampment. Get your Cottage Grove
Passport to History from the Historical
Society booth and visit all the local sites to
win prizes. The new Cultural Stage features
short talks, a cowboy show, and local musi-
cians.
Old-Timey Photos:
Visit Vic’s Photo Booth and dress up in old-
timey clothes with friends and family and
take home a BMD keepsake. $5 session +
$2 for set of extra reprints (2 pictures per
strip)
