March 28.— Bay MeCargar, of Cottage
Grove, wax in this vicinity Wednesday.
Mrs. Smith, of Mosby creek, was a
visitor at the Hendricson home Thurs­
day afternoon.
Miss Elsie Lea spent the week end in
the Grove.
Mrs. Clyde Kerr and children re­
turned from Upton Saturday.
Ja s. Bedford went to Ashland Satur­
day on business.
A very interesting basketball game
was pulled o ff in the Dorena hall S a t­
urday evening between the Dexter and
Star teams. The Star boys got away
with the honors by a score of 22 to b.
Bobt. Mooney and Mrs. Ida Batten,
of Dexter, attended the basketball game
here Saturday evening.
Miss Alice Welsh and Buth and Alice
Griswold, of Cottage Grove, spent the
week end at the Boyer home.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Teeters and fam ­
ily were Sunday visitors at the George
Teeters home in Cottage Grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis McKibben. of
Ix>ndon, were Dorena visitors Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. Price arrived here from Scappoose
Sunday. He recently purchased the nia
chinery from the old mill.
Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Ward and son
and daughter, Boland and Betty, made
a trip to Eugene Sunday.
Baymond Veatch, Francis Lacey and
Misses Esther Jorgenson and Thelma
Wilkinson, o f the Cottage Grove high
school, were at the Dorena schools Tues­
day boosting for the th rift stamp cam
paign.
Miss Louie Brown arrived Tuesday
from Creswell for a short visit.
Jas. Bedford returned home Tuesday
from southern Oregon.
