outs, will be left without an issue or be
put in the embarrassing position of try
mg to steal Moser's thunder.
Anderson, the “ d r y " candidate,
would make a first class governor, but
prohibition is now a dead issue, and it
seems as if his candidacy would help,
rather than hurt, the Moser candidacy.
The contest at this moment seems to
be between Moser and Oleott, and when
it is learned that the election of Oleott
means that Geo. Chamberlain will re
sign to take a federal job and that Ol
eott will appoint West to the senator
ship, his candidacy will flatten out.
While many changes m the situation
¡are possible between now and the May
primaries, is is certain that at the pres
cut moment Moser dominates the field.
