try districts within six days after the
actual passage of the conscription bill,
so that work may go ahead with great

The Social Twelve club was enter
tained last Thursday by Mrs. George
M. Hall. Part of the afternoon was
devoted to patriotic songs. Each o f
the guests came wearing something to
represent one of the presidents. Six of
them represented Roosevelt. The deco
rations were wall flowers, buttercups
prevailing.
A three-course luncheon
was served. Guests of the club were
Mrs. Corson and her mother, Mrs. Par
ker, of Albany; Mrs. Joe Arnold, Mrs.
C. J. Kem, Mrs. O. L. Nichols and Mrs.
Helen Silsby.

Mills. It being May I, luncheon wus
