For Monay and Tuesday o f
next
week the management o f the Rex The
ater has a special o ffering in the Pathe
“ Gold Rooster’ ’ play “ Nedra.’ ’ This
great drama, written by George Barr
McCutcheon, is one o f the strongest
productions Cottage Grove has had an
opportunity to see for some time, and
when it is taken into consideration that
it is directed by that well-know actor-
director Edward Jose, it is hard
to
think o f it not being fa r above the or
dinary feature. Two well-known stars
are featured in this play and both of
them won laurels on Broadway before
they entered the moving picture field.
They are Miss Fania Marin off and Miss
Margaret Green. This picture is made
by the well-known Pathe company.
Wednesday, Jan. 12, is the starting
of that serial that has caused such
favorable comment from the educators
of the country as it portrays our own
navy in such a realistic manner and is
authentic as it was taken with the per
mission o f Secretary o f the N a v y Dan
iels and some o f the pictures taken
were used as government records.
