Apply Sloan's Freely for Lumbago.
Your attack* of Lumbago are not
nearly so hopeless as they seem. You
can relieve them almost instantly by a
simple application o f Sloan's Liniment
on the back and loins. Lumbago is a
form of rheumatism, and yields per
fectly to Sloan's, ohich penetrates
quickly all in through the sore, tender
muscles, limbers up the back and makes
it feel line. Get a bottle of Sloan's
I.iniment for 25 cents of any druggist
and have it in the house—against colds,
sore and swollen joints, rheumatism,
neuralgia, sciatica and like ailments.
Your money back if not satisfied, but it
does give almost instant relief.

MOSBY CREEK IS SOURCE
OF MANY RUMORS
Fersistent reports continue to come
from the Mosby Creek country that
some unusual development is contem
plated. One dny a report cornea of n
survey party seen here and the next
dny a report of a pnrty of surveyors
sneaking into the wood» at some other
point. Other reports have come that
options have been taken on certain
pieees of property.
Despite all the rumors none o f them
has been traced down to anything de
finite.
Several billion feet o f mer
chantable timber could be reached by
a railroad up thin valley and, no doubt,
one will some day be built for that pur
pose, but no information can be secured
that would give encouragement of any
thing of that sort being plnnned for
the immediate future.
One o f the largest lumber companies
has immense holdings in that section.
Saw Oatbaring of Two Armies,
After witnessing the mobilizntion of
troops in Montreal and Juarez within
two weeks, Col. Creed C. Hammond,
commander o f the Oregon coast artil
lery corps, O. N. 0., hus returned from
n 10,000 mile circuit o f the United
States.
He was in Quebec on the dny when nn
army o f 35,000 Canadian volunteers
were mobilized, and he was in Juarez
when Villa'a denouncement of Carrnnza
was announced, nnd he saw the opera
tions of the Mexican general in rush
ing hia troops to Chihuahua. This was
one of the largest bodies of men as
sembled in one array during the Mexi
can trouble, according to Col. Ham
mond. Freight nnd passenger service
was stopped on all trains nnd the rolling
stock given to the moving of troops.--
