Larry Doyle, field captain of the
Giants, now battin g .373. was a clum­
sy second s a c k e r when he joined the
club a few y ears ago. McGraw. how­
ever. had faith In him, and Doyle final­
ly rounded Into the star player he Is
today. At the start his strong point
