For about three-quarters o f a mile along the road and back from the road as far aa a person can see the army o f creeping, crawling animals ia clearing the treea o f every leaf. So far no other section has reported an attack o f the peat, and nothing like it haa ever been heard o f in this sec­ tion o f the country before. There are no friut treea in thia particular section, and i f only the mountain balm ia at­ tacked, no great damage w ill be done.
