F or same time fish have been caught in the riv er with which to feed the young fish, end this has developed the fa ct that Chinook salmon have been in the riv er fo r some tim e, as occasionally one is ca u gh t W ith about a m illion and a *»eif young salmon turned loose in the river each year, it would seem that the supply should be reasonably well kept up, even if they are an nually caught as plentifully as last year, when over 100,000 were taken for com m ercial uses.
