Mrs. Cassa A. Endicott, beloved
wife of J. J. Endicott, passed from
this earth at her home in this city,
Thursday, Jan. 20, 1905, after a
short illness. She was born Febru­
ary 17, 1832, and was therefore 72
years. 11 months and 9 days o f ago
at the time of death. She was born
in Kentucky, and when a child
moved with her parents to Indiana
where she passed her childhood and
earlier life and where she was unit­
ed in marriage to J. J. Endicott on
March 15, 1847. Thev moved to
Illinois in 1855, and from there
they movod to Missouri and in 1889
they came to Myrtle Point and have |
since resided in this section.
The deceased was the mother of
fourteen children, all of whom are ;
living except two, a daughter and a
son. Thus a husband, twelve chil-
dren, and other relatives are left to
mourn their loss. She was a mem­
ber of the Christian church, and led
a consistent, Christ-like life.
She
was a loving mother and wife, a
kind-hearted and good neighbor
and much csteoinod by all.
Funeral services were conducted
from the Christian church today by
the pastor. Rev. M. Brownrigg, and
jhe remains laid to rest in the Myr­
tle Point cemetery.— Enterprise
