The District Attorney Hall this after noon gave his opening address to the jury. The greatest sensation of the land fraud case came this afternoon at 2 o’clock when Frank Walgamot,1 one of the defendants, interrupted Hall’s speech and wanted to change his plea to that of guilty, and by his confession implicated all the other conspirators in a long chain of frauds and perjurys.
