The fishing season seems to he about over. The run has been very large. The cannery here put up over 7000 cases. Besides this the cannery at Prosper had all it could care for, and a large quantity has shipped to Empire, and there were some salted down on the river. Telephone Line Going Up. (Marshfield Sun.) The Pacific States Telephone Co. have a large force of men at work putting up poles and wires in town. Fifty miles of wire will be used on the trunk line which includes North Bend and Empire.
