Lamb, who had- gone over to see
her, left on Sunday evening, she
was resting nicely.

Saturday. Tho tug towed her over
the bar and after turning her loose
they noticed C. Timmons, the can-
neryman, and his son Fred in the

to the bar. When the Dix:e was
getting well in she kept close to the
South jetty, and as a large breaker
passed under her it lifted her up aft
and ns the rudder was out of the
water they lost control of her and
the breakers and the North wind

South jetty. Fred soon managed
to get off on the rocks, and after
some difficulty succeeded in getting
his father off who soon returned to

wns too far out and not daring to
venture close enough to get a line
to her, whistled for the Life Saving
Station boys who soon got there,
and Donald Charleston got on the
swamped launch and made a line
fast from the life boat to the launch
which was towed by the tug to the
mud flat. No one was hurt except
Mr. Timmons, who got his hand
bruised on the rooks. It is thought
the damages will be about $ 100 .
