Brake man on Teal Creek Railroad Dies Beneath the Wheels Thursday morning R. V. DeWitt was run over by the Teal Creek logging train and instantly killed. The engine was pushing some trucks and DeWitt was running in front of the trucks to throw a switch. He tripped and fell, and although the cars were moving slowly he was so close that there was no possibility of preventing the catastrophe. Four wheels passed over his body crushing his life out. The body was taken to the Chapman Undertaking parlors at Dallas and prepared for burial. F I N A N C I A L .S T A T E M E N T .
