Wants County to Pay The county court has received, through an attorney o f Chicago, a demand for ten per cent royality on all the re-inforced concrete bridges in Polk county. The Chic ago attorney claims that his client is the inventor and patentee of the process used in the construction of these bridges. The largest bridge o f this kind in the county is the one at Independence, which cost about $5,000, but there are numerous small ones, which would make the commissions, if allowed, run into several thousand dollars.
