of Brother Hicks, pastor o f our
work at Falls City, who kindly
consented to attempt that most
difficult task of carrying on the
work o f another popular man.
We want to say for Brother
Hicks that he is a man o f large
ability and experience and rose
to the situation, by no means
lowering the standard set by our
evangelist, Brother Van Winkle.
We were all glad to extend our
acquaintance with Brother Hicks
and to hear his two strong ser
mons. We want to thank him
for his kind and helpful service
and congratulate the Falls City
church in having so strong a man
to stand in their pulpit and lead
them in their work. We are
hearing good reports from that
field and are predicting greater
