There were all kinds of trouble Tues
day for stray cows and their owners.
The enforcement of the ordinance had
not lieen very strict for a week or so,
but on that day Shackelford's corral
was hired for a pound, and a general
round-up ensued. Uange cattle were
included, thonuh the practice is that
only the price of the feed is exacted on
range stock the tirst time it is put up
Owners of town cows, however, must
pay the full pouiidmaster's fee. Aa is
