The first annual missionary con tention of the Church of Chrtst of Wallowa county met In the Chris tian church of Enterprise June 19 with Mr. Thomas Morgan in the Jhair. A good representaton of the members of the local church and a 'ul delegation, from Flora, Lostlne ind Wallowa were present. After song and prayer by the pastor, ley. Gifford Ernest, delegates were enrolled and the afternoon devoted o reading reports from the sever al congregations, amending the con itltutlon, and general routine work. Mrs. O. M. Corkins was elected a le'.egate from Enterprise church and Mrs. Ida Edwards delegate from flora church, and A. F. Linn dele sate at large from Wallowa county ;o the state convention at Turner, Ore., June 25-July 3. June 20, lla. m. a sermon was lelivered by the pastor, Rev. Ern est, at 3 p. m. a sermon by Rev. '.V. S. Crockett of Lostine, and a winding up of the .business of the convention. The evening session ivas devoted to discussions. L. J. Some veeks ago Mr. Nedrow moved Mrs. rlolloway to his own home on Day .lldge, where she might secure a leeded rest. Mr. Hollo way died last winter. G.I.Ratcliff received word Tuesday that his father, T. A. Ratcliff, was iot expected to live. The latter has jeen making his home In Salem. G. I.
