TIMBi R ENTRYMAN VICTOR IN APPEAL (Continued from page three.) the land was more valuable for agri cultural purposes than for timber and stone. The taking of testimony con sumed six days. Register Bramwell rendered a de cision in favor of the timber and '..tone claimant and held the case for dismissal. The case was appealed and Resi3ter Bram well's decision was Uirmed. Attorney O. M. Corkins of Enterprise appeared for Metzler und J. T. Williamson for O'Brien. The case was one of the biggest con tests heard in fie local office for some time. The plaintiff has one moie appeal to the secretary of the in.erior If he chooses to avail himself of It. If the appeal i3 not taken the important decision written by Regis ter Bramwell and sustained by the commisioner general will stand as a precedent In the decision of the re maining case? HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY STOPS FLAS BATTLE The freshman-senior flag battle at the hieh school was eadel by a faculty stop-order. The fresh men say the order showed partial ity because their flag was flying ' the coveted point and the senlon could not set ud on the roof and take It down. The especially think hey were unfairly dealt with because they were compelled under fear oi suspension to replace the ladder and tke down their own flag. The faculty say they were not psf ial as they had before ordered the senior's flag down, and furthermore the contest had gone too far, locks beine taken off doors, and the stuc ladder, used to go out on the roof n case of fire, had been torn from its fastenings and taken from buildings.
