number In the lyceum course, which
Is being put on by the American Le

Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Beaver
and two children came down from
Portland last week tor a tew days
visit with the former's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. A. M. Beaver, 916 Iowa
street. The trip was made In a
Standard Eight car, which left Port
land at 4 o'clock one afternoon and
arrived here at the same time the
following day. The night was spent
at Eugene and one hour lost fixing
a tire. Mr. Beaver Is sales manager
