Christmas tide was happily kept
by the Presbyterian church and Sun
day school.
An old-time Christmas was cele
brated by the Sunday school, Friday
evening, with a crowded house. The

Mrs. Anna Satterfleld, an aged res
ident of this city, died at her home
on Granite street last evening, after
several weeks' illness. Thodeceased
was 87 years of age, and had lived

The building was formerly owned
by Mrs. Lottie Paulson, and occup
ied by the Fix-It Shop. The new
proprietor has a floor space for bis
business of almost nine hundred
square feet. The pulnting ot the
building, which was well along, has
been held up because of the incle
ment weather-
Mr. Drew is tho active manager as
well as the proprietor, and besides
himself, employs one tailor, W. S.
