meeting was of more than ordinary
importance to Jackson county. The
directors of the Ashland "Fruit and
Produce Ass'n and of the Jackson
County Farm Bureau Exchange, got
together to discuss ways and means
for a closer co-operation between
! the two associations.
Both are co-operatjve in nature and
are working for the beat interests of
the farmer. A full board from both
bodies was present. The meeting
was" harmonious in every way and
the result will be a mutual benefit
to the members of the Ashland Asso
ciation and the Farm, Bureau Ex
change located at Medford.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwards' staunch ad
mirers, and the latter were the re
cipients of a handsome chair from
the members of the Methodist church.

ular clergyman and his wife are held
among them a handsome cut glass
marmalade dish, gift of Mrs. Edwards'
Sunday school class. The latter,
