Ing. Mrs. James had been quite 111
with an attack of Influenza for the
Past three weeks. Her health,
never of the best, was not able
to withstand the ravages of the
disease, and Saturday she hud a
severe stroke from which she
never regained consciousness. ,
The deceased had lived in this
section for many years, and had
made her home with her daugh
ter from whom she had never
been separated during the lot
tor's lifetime. She was well
known and highly esteemed by
a large number of friends and
acquaintances in Jackson county.
Funeral services will be held
Sunday at 2:30 p. 111., from the
Methodist church, conducted by
Rev. C. A. Edwards, and inter
ment will be made In the Moun
tain View cemetery. Mrs. James
is survived by three sons In Cal
ifoinia, beside the two children
living in this county.
